Anybody who plays Exalted (table top RPG) will understand what I'm talking about. For those who don't, you can ask. I just thought I needed to tell the world of my epic fail.
I got a negative five botch.
That right there is enough for worry. I managed to get myself killed by a comrade after killing EVEN MORE people in a town that we were supposed to be protecting. (it used to be a city, but air elementals attacked.) Plus, I was a Night Cast, so nobody knew why it was happening. Bodies just started showing up with their throats ripped out. All this because I was looking for a new bow cause I had snapped my old one in two in a fight. Because I botched so badly while looking for information, I thought everyone was lying to me. My Virtue was temperance. I had Contempt of the Virtuous as my Limit Break, so because I thought everyone was lying to me, I wound up killing everyone I asked for help.
Meanwhile, one of my companions that was helping me look for a new bow starts finding bodies. So he follows the trail, and eventually finds me in an ally, ripping out a man's jugular. I'm covered in blood, and have this crazed look in my eyes. His Virtue is Compassion, so the killing of innocents REALLY doesn't sit well with him. He winds up killing me, and I sit through the rest of the session.
There, end of story. I just really needed to get that out.
